Lottery draw sales made up CN¥12.86bn of the total. Betting and prediction games generated CN¥8.24bn, while instant games made up CN¥7.65bn.

Keno sales added CN¥2.05bn to the revenue, while video lottery sales generated ¥50,000.

The Welfare Lottery reported CN¥13.97bn in revenue, a decrease of 8.1% year-on-year.

Most of this was made up of lottery draw game sales, which stood at CN¥7.54bn, while instant games accounted for CN¥4.37bn. Keno games made up the remaining 2.05bn.

Meanwhile, the sport lottery made up the remaining CN¥16.8bn of the overall revenue, a drop of 18% from January 2021. In this segment, lottery draw sales generated CN¥5.31bn and betting and prediction games stood at CN¥8.24bn. Instant games generated CN¥3.27bn and video lottery sales added ¥50,000.

The Welfare Lottery and Sports Lottery saw their highest level of sales in the Guangdong province, at CN¥1.51bn and CN¥1.82bn respectively.

The Zhejiang province had the second most sales for the Welfare Lottery, totaling CN¥1.13bn, while the Jiangsu province came second in Sports Lottery’s sales at CN¥1.40bn
