ComeOn’s Casinostuen product will offer live dealer and casino games online powered by its in-house casino and sportsbook platform. The brand will offer in-house games and casino streaming platform Wespin, all promoted by its brand ambassador, Elmer the Squirrel.
ComeOn was initially granted sportsbook and casino betting rights in Denmark in 2019. At the time, previous CEO Lahcene Merzoug said the operator had been preparing for a Danish licence “for quite some time” and had “some really interesting things coming up”.
“We are thrilled to introduce Casinostuen to the Danish market,” ComeOn group CEO Efi Peleg said in a released statement.
“Our goal is to create a gaming experience that feels both safe, exciting and welcoming, and with our diverse product offering and the introduction of Elmer, we believe Casinostuen will quickly become a favourite among Danish players,” he added.
ComeOn put up for sale in 2024
Founded in 2008, the Malta-based ComeOn Group operates 15 brands, including ComeOn, Mobilebet and Getlucky. It launched its first online offering in 2010.
The group is owned by the Swedish gaming group Cherry AB, but the Swedish gaming group put the business up for sale last year. It was said to be valued at €500 million, which was more than eight times the €60 million EBITDA it forecasted for 2025.
ComeOn also operates in the Netherlands and Germany. In the German market it offers games through its Sunmaker.de, Comeonwetten.de and Mobilebet.de brands. ComeOn was also granted the rights to offer sports betting in Ontario, Canada, in 2022.
