ndustry’s events organizer, SBC, announced the launch of the inaugural SBC Awards North America, which will take place in New York on December 2, 2021.
The awards are designed to reward operators, affiliates and suppliers in the region. It will be part of the three-day SBC Summit North America conference and trade show.
Operators, lotteries, affiliates and suppliers working in any US or Canadian market are eligible to enter the 26 categories. The nomination period runs until August 26, with the shortlists and winners to be chosen by an independent panel of expert judges.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said in a press release that “the growth of the legal sports betting and iGaming industry in North America over the past three years has been a true business phenomenon, and it is time to honor the achievements of the companies driving that success”.
He underscored that the recognitions will go “from the long-established brands that have embraced mobile gambling to the most innovative start-ups, the SBC Awards North America will celebrate the very best the industry has to offer.”
SBC Awards North America is one of three industry awards shows the company has scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021, as it has also announced the first edition of SBC Awards Latinoamérica and the 8th edition of the global SBC Awards show, which will take place in Miami, October 28, and London, December 14, respectively.
