n July 29, 2021, global online marketing affiliate Casinoble was granted the Class II License, which is mandatory for all companies that intend to deliver services to the Romanian gambling market.
The Romanian online gambling market has been regulated since 2015 and requires operators, suppliers, and affiliates to be licensed. The Class II License allows companies to refer traffic to both licensed online sportsbooks and licensed online casino operators in Romania.
Lucas Mollberg, founder of Casinoble, commented on this new achievement and said: “We are in the final stages with our website and will be ready to take an active approach with marketing in a couple of weeks. Casinoble.ro will follow the new design that was released at Casinoble.ie on July 5th”.
With the approved license, according to a press release Monday, the company now “begins a journey to build up our online presence. Our marketing strategy mainly depends on SEO, but we will also look over activities such as PPC and Social Media”, it read.
The Romanian market is regulated and requires a license even from marketing channels, like affiliate websites. “The competition is relatively low compared to many other countries with 30 million inhabitants”, the company wrote.
With the Romanian Gambling Authority keeping the unlicensed actors at bay, Casinoble deemed it “beneficial” to apply for the license “with the time and costs that come with it”.
