bios is partnering with LeoVegas, a Swedish provider of mobile games, sports betting, and online casino services, to augment their esports offering with Widgets. The Abios Esports Widgets have been implemented on the LeoVegas website and apps, enhancing the esports offering and user experience.
It is common practice for punters in any sport to study statistics and browse analytics websites to gain information on teams, players, and previous matchups before placing bets. Every game has different objectives, maps, and team setups, which are often exclusive to esports. Therefore, Abios helped LeoVegas implement customized and responsive widgets across their products to help the customers in making informed decisions on different aspects of the game.
The widgets elevate the user experience by showing pre-match data, including expected rosters, most picked and banned champions or heroes, win rates for maps, and more. When the match goes live, the widgets are switched to live in order to keep track of the game directly on the site, enabling the punter to stay on-site for the entirety of the game while still being able to access all important statistics, both live and historical.
Linus Norman, Key Account Manager at Abios, said: “We are seeing a great demand and growth in esports betting. LeoVegas is offering a great player experience and we are proud to be able to help and leverage our products to enhance their offering further.”
Christian Polsäter, Director of Sports at LeoVegas, commented: “Esports is growing in popularity for us and we are very happy to improve our customer experience by providing engaging content and useful statistics.”
The integration project of the widgets started as a pilot in chosen esports markets. After an evaluation in tandem with LeoVegas, the widgets have now been rolled out on all esports markets, including other LeoVegas Group brands such as bet.uk and bet21.
