igital sports entertainment provider DraftKings announced Monday the location of its new office, which will be based out of Las Vegas. The company expects to gather a team of more than 1,000 employees in this 90,000-square-foot technology hub, which will occupy an entire building in a 40-acre workplace. The office is expected to be up and running in Southwest Las Vegas in early 2022.
DraftKings’ Las Vegas office will be the second largest of the company and will closely model its Boston headquarters, including a customized DraftKings-branded floor plan and collaborative workspaces, as well as access to entertainment and workstations.

Designed by IA Interior Architects, the office will comprise more than 130 dedicated sports trading desks surrounded by full multimedia walls, a 7,500-square-foot cafeteria and event space, a custom casino training pit, a 500-square-foot interactive putt-view putting green, private and public outdoor spaces, and mothers’ rooms, among other features.
Designed by the architecture firm, Gensler, the offices will have floor-to-ceiling windows to let in daylight and provide views of the natural Las Vegas surroundings, breakout spaces for individual work or small group collaboration, a conference center that can be used to host small meetings and workshops, and more.
Since its first office opened in January 2020 in Las Vegas, DraftKings’ presence in the area has grown 400%. This past year, the company announced various agreements furthering its ties to the Las Vegas community, by signing multi-year deals, such as the sponsorship one with UNLV’s Center for Gaming Innovation. DraftKings has also opened the new DraftKings Gaming Innovation Studio at UNLV, providing access to local talent and technology.
