FansUnite Entertainment announced Tuesday the appointment of Dennis Williams as its payments director, effective January 10, 2022, reporting directly to COO Ian Winter.
In his new role, he will oversee payments solutions and will be working closely with the casino, iGaming, esports and sports betting divisions to streamline its payments and deposit and withdrawal processes. He will also be responsible for introducing new systems for fiat and cryptocurrency deposits and monetization of the company’s Chameleon Gaming platform.
Williams will also be tasked with establishing protocols for minimizing fraud.
Prior to joining FansUnite, Williams was a payments senior specialist at the British Columbia Lottery Corporation, the only licensed provider of casinos, lottery products, and online gambling in British Columbia. He was one of the architects of the corporation’s payments-related strategies and implemented solutions for processing millions of dollars annually. He has also been the director of payment processing at a top European online poker network.
“All gaming payment solutions across FansUnite’s full suite of companies, including UK-based McBookie, Brazil-based VamosGG and the company’s white label partners such as MoneyLine Sports in Europe will fall under his purview,” the company stated.
In an official press release, Ian Winter, COO of FansUnite, spoke about Williams’ appointment and said: “Dennis is an expert in payment processing and payment systems whose insight and ability to innovate will be vital to our continued corporate expansion strategy. Dennis will be an integral connection point between our technology development, business development, marketing, product and operations teams.”
