PGA Tour is extending its Official Betting Operator relationship with FanDuel, the organizer of professional golf tours announced on Monday. As part of the three-year extension through 2024, the sports betting giant is set to become the exclusive odds provider for PGA Tour social platforms.
The content and marketing relationship partnership sees FanDuel being designated an Official Betting Operator, and the company will collaborate to deliver exclusive odds-based content to fans via the PGA Tour’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
“FanDuel is a market leader in the United States and we look forward to extending our relationship in the sports betting space for three more years,” said Norb Gambuzza, PGA TOUR Senior Vice President, Media and Gaming. “FanDuel continues to see incredible growth in its golf products and is poised for additional growth through its partnership with Jordan Spieth.”
According to Gambuzza, the integration of FanDuel’s odds into PGA TOUR’s social content will provide fans with “relevant storylines” and “up-to-date betting information” for those seeking to get involved in sports wagering within golf.
Moreover, as part of the deal, FanDuel will also have rights in the United States to use PGA TOUR marks, rights to advertise within TOUR media and TOUR partner platforms, plus content and video rights allowing the company to create pre-game and post-game betting programming, as well as distribution of highlights to FanDuel bettors and through FanDuel social media accounts.
The three-year extension with FanDuel runs through 2024.

“We are excited to continue our relationship with the PGA TOUR, a partnership that has been one of our most innovative and groundbreaking since its inception,” said Mike Raffensperger, CMO FanDuel Group. “We value the TOUR’s willingness to be a first mover in bringing new features like real-time highlights into our app which enhance the entertainment experience for the TOUR’s passionate fans.”
Following the overturning of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act (PASPA) in 2018, the TOUR has “instituted a robust integrity program” in collaboration with Genius Sports, a press release states. And, later that year, it announced a global partnership with IMG ARENA to license its official, live scoring data to betting operators around the world.
The TOUR is currently a platinum member of the National Council on Problem Gambling and is aligned with the American Gaming Association. It has teamed up with AGA on its Have A Game Plan. Bet Responsibly public service campaign to educate golf fans on responsible sports wagering.
Gambling giant FanDuel first partnered with the PGA TOUR in 2020, becoming an Official Betting Operator. The deal allowed the company to expand upon the betting momentum in golf experienced that year: golf had recorded the highest single event handle on FanDuel Sportsbook over nine of the last 12 Sundays when the deal was announced, on August 31.
“Golf interest is up on FanDuel, so we are excited to deepen our relationship with the PGA TOUR,” said Mike Raffensperger in 2020. “We will now be able to offer unique gaming experiences on our platform, special TOUR-related promotions for our customers and an enhanced content experience across the TOUR’s properties.”
