Agua Caliente Resort Casino Palm Springs in California announced the opening of its new location of 360 Sports, a new sports bar and restaurant, which took place on Friday, January 7, next to the resort’s Java Caliente Café.
The sports bar concept also has locations at the Agua Caliente Casinos in Rancho Mirage and Cathedral City, all three properties owned by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians. The Palm Springs version of 360 Sports features similar menu items to the other two locations. It also features large television screens that will feature multiple sports broadcasts.
The new restaurant and bar replaced the Oasis Buffet, which remained shuttered after the Agua Caliente properties reopened from their closures due to the pandemic.
360 Sports’ kitchen hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m-midnight Monday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
An initiative that would allow California tribal casinos to offer sports betting became eligible for the November 2022 ballot after more than 1 million signatures were verified by county election officials across the state in May last year. Californians will vote on whether sports betting should be legalized as a proposition to amend the state Constitution to allow betting at tribal casinos and horse-racing tracks. The measure to legalize, regulate and tax sports betting is backed by a coalition of 18 tribes, who spent $11.57 million to collect 1.4 million signatures by the October 2020 deadline.
