Gaming platform provider BetConstruct is adding a new poker product to its gaming line, the London-based company announced on Wednesday. The Badugi Poker type aims at helping BetConstruct’s partners boost player engagement on their websites, as well as introducing diversity to the poker line, a company statement explains.
According to the company, Badugi will be of particularly high interest for those operators seeking a better position and to spread in the Asian market. This new variant of draw poker shares similarities with Lowball, although it significantly differs in its hand ranking system.
BetConstruct claims that, with its customizable game view and flexible tournaments for Spin&Go, Sit&Go and KnockOut tournament types, Badugi has “a full potential” of attracting both amateur players as well as true poker enthusiasts.

“The brand new addition of Badugi will easily increase customer base and guarantee long-run success for BetConstruct’s partner operators,” a press release claims. The game is available on the web, mobile and in the app in various languages.
Those having BetConstruct’s Poker in the global network can enjoy Badugi by default, the gaming provider explains. Meanwhile, others “already have the possibility” to activate it and expand their reach.
The announcement builds upon other recent products introduced by BetConstruct, including Fighters xXx, a new crash game where a player bets on swiftly growing odds before the multiplier crashes. It is to be available as a new adaptation in the company’s gaming suite as a space-themed game.

Given its simple rules and quick rounds, the company expects this new edition to bring “a fresh take” on the existing variations of the game. Players watch the flight of three starcrafts and they can choose to cash out early, before the first one or the last one crashes. The player loses only when the three planes explode.
In December, BetConstruct received a Multi-Channel Supplier of the Year award at SBC Awards 2021, during a ceremony at Battersea Evolution in London. The company’s slots, Live Casino, and bet-on games catalog expanded with new titles from 2020 to 2021.
