Governor Chris Sununu stated he plans to place a bet on the Patriots for the upcoming playoffs. The hometown team remains the most bet-on team, according to the official press release by both the Lottery and the company.
Currently, wagers can be placed online or at DraftKings Sportsbooks locations at The Brook in Seabrook, and at Filotimo Casino in Dover and Manchester.
Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery, said: “We are pleased with what we have accomplished and we are excited to continue growing sports betting as a revenue driver supporting our schools”.
The 2021 Super Bowl was the largest single-game sports betting event over the past two years, bringing in $7.1 million in wagers. The top five sports for betting are the NFL, NBA, college basketball, college football and table tennis.
