The upcoming iGB Affiliate London, slated to return to its ExCeL London home after a 2-year Covid-enforced absence, is set to be 28% bigger than the 2020 edition with 11-weeks to go, event organizer Clarion Gaming announced on Thursday.
The international iGaming affiliate sector show is set to take place 13-14 April, 2022. According to Clarion Gaming, ahead of going live, the event is “tracking way ahead of forecasts” and currently stands at 159 exhibitors and sponsors, up from a total of 150 in its 2020 edition.
Moreover, the show is set to draw participants from 29 nations, occupying a net floor space of 6,265 sqm, a 28% increase on the physical size of the 2020 edition, now spanning three halls at the ExCeL venue, according to a press release.
“The industry is putting its faith in the iGB brand with both the number of sponsors and the level of investment increasing,” said Clarion Gaming. The latter is “already up 5%” on the final figure achieved two years ago.

“I am delighted to confirm these figures which have been achieved a full 11-weeks ahead of launch, with the team continuing to market the opportunities and benefits of being a part of the industry’s premier event,” said Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director responsible for the Clarion Gaming owned iGB Affiliate Brand.
According to Barton, the figures augur “extremely well” for what she is confident will be “an international celebration” of the iGaming affiliate sector. The event is set to connect affiliates “to a 360-degree experience” of iGaming via networking and business lead-generation opportunities, content and learning, according to the event description.
“There is a confidence within the iGaming affiliate sector and the optimism, energy and desire to come together and network represents an extension of what we experienced with the iGB brand last September in Amsterdam when independent post-show satisfaction research placed iGB Live!/iGB Affiliate Amsterdam among the top ten percent of events benchmarked with visitors and in the elite top three percent for exhibitors,” added Barton.
The Portfolio Director further explained that, drilling down into the data, the exhibitor line-up for iGB Affiliate London comprises “a compelling blend” of returning (53% of the total) and first-time exhibitors. For Clarion, as an event organizer, the challenge is “to achieve the optimum balance” and to have 47% first-time exhibitors is set to keep “the show floor fresh and dynamic.”

“While there’s still some understandable caution regarding international travel due to Covid, our pre-registration figures are strong and this week’s announcement made by the UK government that testing for vaccinated arrivals is to be scrapped from the 11th February, will, I am sure, be reflected in the numbers we see registering to be part of the iGB Affiliate London experience,” concluded Barton.
The co-located ICE London (12-14 April) is described by Clarion as “the biggest B2B gambling industry event in the world,” embracing every aspect of the industry ecosystem, from games creators, distributors, operators and retailers, to trade associations, strategic bodies and regulators.
Originally slated to take place in February, ICE London and iGB Affiliate London were postponed to their April dates earlier this month, amid uncertainty caused by the Omicron variant of Covid-19. The move was welcomed by several industry organizations, including the European Casino Association (ECA), the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), and the Gambling Business Group.
