BetBoom, one of the largest bookmakers in Russia, has entered into a new partnership with esports betting solutions provider Oddin.gg to capitalize on the boom of electronic sports in its home country, the wagering company announced on Monday.
The bookmaker, which has more than 350 betting shops set up across the country, claims its foray into sports betting will have a focus on technology and user experience. Through its relationship with Oddin.gg, the company aims “to lead the region” with an esports betting solution that “ventures to satisfy the expectations of millions of fans.”
The new partnership with BetBoom marks a first with a Russian operator for esports-centric provider of odds feeds and risk management solutions Oddin.gg. It builds upon partnerships signed with multiple new clients in the last few months, including SOFTSWISS and Betby.
The esports company, which has recently earned a license from New Jersey, offers its customers through its proprietary and proven solution “a truly engaging esports betting experience,” appealing to the younger generations of bettors interested in electronic sports.
“We are fully aware of the esports potential in Russia. We have the ambitious plan to become the leader on the local market in esports, but to do so, we need the best product available,” stated Petr Kipa, CMO of BetBoom. “This is why we’re extremely happy to partner with Oddin.gg.”
According to the executive, Oddin.gg’s proprietary solution will allow the bookmaker to offer “the best product in the market.” The esports scene in Russia has been growing as of late, with popular Russian teams regularly succeeding internationally in titles such as CS:GO and Dota 2.

Through this partnership, BetBoom expects to lead the scene in Russia, while at the same time providing Oddin.gg a new opportunity to expand globally.
