The WynnBET sports betting app is now live in the state of Louisiana, Wynn Interactive, the online gaming division of Wynn Resorts, announced on Thursday. Players in the state can download the mobile app or use the dedicated website to begin placing wagers through the company’s product starting today. Online sports betting operations in the state had made its debut on January 28.
According to a press release, WynnBET patrons in the state have “immediate access” to Wynn Rewards, which provides real-life experiences and benefits across the properties owned by the gaming giant. Existing loyalty program members will be able to connect their accounts to WynnBET after completing registration.
Additionally, users in the state will gain access to a new player offer, called “Bet $10 Win $200.” If a player completes registration, makes at least a $10 deposit and places a $10 first-time straight bet or parlay wager, they will receive $200 in free bets.
Louisiana becomes the ninth operational state for Wynn’s product, joining Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Virginia. The company launched account pre-registration and deposit prior to the Louisiana launch on January 26, including the aforementioned “Bet $10 Win $200” offer. WynnBET’s marketing activities in Louisiana are anchored by brand ambassador and LSU legend Shaquille O’Neal.

“WynnBET’s launch in Louisiana is just the beginning of an exciting few months for our company as we significantly increase our footprint during the first quarter of 2022. Pending regulatory approval, we will also soon be launching our online sportsbook in Iowa, expanding the number of states players can enjoy our platform from seven to 10,” Wynn Interactive President Ian Williams said in an official press release late last month. “We look forward to welcoming new customers from across the country to WynnBET in the coming weeks.”
WynnBET’s latest launch prior to Louisiana was New York, where the sportsbook went live on Friday, February 4. The sportsbook became the seventh to launch in the Empire State, just in time for the Super Bowl. A promotional video featuring former wide receiver and three-time Super Bowl winner Julian Edelman was shared upon announcement.
