Desert Diamond Casinos and Entertainment, which operates four gaming halls in Arizona, announced the launch of its mobile sports wagering app, which became available for download just in time for Sunday’s Super Bowl. The operator, owned by the Tohono O’odham Nation, also opened its brand new Desert Diamond Casino Sportsbook & Bar at its Tucson location on Sunday.

The brand’s mobile sportsbook is now available across Arizona, offering a wide range of betting options including custom wagers on local and popular games, featuring a match tracking visualization so that bettors can follow their favorite teams anywhere. The new betting app also matches the first two deposits up to $500 each.

Treena Parvello, Director of Government & Public Relations for the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise, said in a statement: “We are excited to launch our new Desert Diamond Sports app just in time for guests to get their wagers in for the big game! As Arizona’s only true local sportsbook, we’re operated in-house and offer custom wagers you won’t find anywhere else. Whether you want to play in person or on the go, you’ll find all the sportsbook action at Desert Diamond Casinos”, as reported by ABC’s Kgun 9.

Arizona legalized retail and mobile sports betting in September 2021. Back in December, Desert Diamond Sports and entertainment opened two retail sportsbook locations in the state, one in Sahuarita and another in Glendale, West Valley. A new location in Tucson opened on Sunday.

The sportsbook offers digital kiosks available for in-person sports wagering at its properties, and with the new mobile app guests can also bet on pre-game or in game for sports including NFL, NBA, MLB, WNBA, NHL, College Football, College Basketball, College Baseball, Tennis, Golf, Soccer, eSports and more.
