Gauselmann Group‘s online slot developer Blueprint Gaming announced Wednesday it is set to build further momentum across Canada after receiving approval to supply games to multiple operators within the imminently regulating market province of Ontario.

Following approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), over 50 of Blueprint’s games such as “The Goonies”, “Ted”, “Sausage Party” and more will be made available to operators and players when the much-anticipated market opens for business on April 4. In addition, the company will be adapting its well-known branded Deal or No Deal games to be based on Canada’s equivalent show Le Banquier.

Complementing the deployment of Blueprint’s titles is an updated version of Blueprint’s progressive jackpot system, Jackpot King. The update, rebranded as Jackpot Royale, has been modified to work with the specific requirements and liquidity of the various provinces within Canada. Its addition is key to Blueprint’s proposition in the province, with the progressive system proven to generate hugely attractive jackpot prizes and attract significant interest from within the online casino community.

Jackpot Royale can be activated from any spin within Blueprint games that feature the functionality. Players enter the Wheel King game mode, where they have the opportunity to claim one of three progressive jackpots available.

The studio is developing a product roadmap to ensure operators will regularly receive content to keep players entertained.

With Blueprint’s extensive portfolio already in Canada, the licence for the wider market of Ontario is set to showcase its content to a greater number of players. This will strengthen its position in the region with players accustomed to Blueprint’s signature gameplay.

In an official press release, Jo Purvis, Director of Key Accounts and Marketing UK at Blueprint Gaming, said: “Ontario has the potential to become one of the biggest iGaming markets in North America, so being able to service the province from day one is a hugely important move for the company. Players in Canada already enjoy our style of games and we have strong expectations for the market. We’re looking forward to bringing our content to a much wider audience.”
