Sports data and technology company Genius Sports is partnering with Resorts World New York for Resorts WorldBET, its new mobile sports betting app. Through this newly signed deal, Genius is set “to help power the digital sportsbook,” the business said on Wednesday.
Resorts World New York, which operates the brick-and-mortar casinos Resorts World Catskills and Resorts World New York City in the Empire State, launched its sportsbook product earlier this month after securing one of the highly coveted operator licenses. It became the eighth sportsbook to go live in what quickly has become the US top market for sports betting.
According to a statement, Genius Sports will help Resorts WorldBET to offer “a market-leading mobile sportsbook” by providing it with its leading LiveData and LiveTrading solutions, which are powered “by the highest quality official data.”
The new partnership will include Genius Sports’ proprietary suite of NASCAR’s official data-driven in-race betting markets, in addition to exclusive NFL official sports data-powered products, including access to the league’s real-time statistics, proprietary Next Gen Stats (NGS), and official sports betting data feed.

Additionally, the tech company says that, in order for Resorts to deliver a 24/7 offering to its customers, WorldBET will also receive real-time data feeds and in-point pricing for the English Premier League, alongside dozens of FIBA basketball and FIVB volleyball leagues worldwide.
“We are excited to partner with Genius Sports and offer the most cutting-edge technology with real-time data so that customers stay ahead of the game,” said Darlene Monzo, Chief Marketing Officer of Genting Americas East, which operates Resorts WorldBET.
According to the executive, as mobile sports betting in the Empire State is primed to lead the nation, Resorts World’s “world-class platform offers exactly what customers are looking for.” Monzo names an innovative mix of speed, reliability and access to the most advanced data available as the main attributes of the product.
“With over 20 million people and a rich sporting history, the New York online sports betting market has enormous potential,” said Mark Locke, CEO of Genius Sports. “Resorts WorldBET is set to be one of the key players in the market and Genius Sports will be central to their offering, providing premium exclusive content on top tier competitions including NASCAR, EPL and NFL.”

Resorts WorldBET debuted in New York on March 3, in time for March Madness. It became the eighth to launch in the state, leaving only Bally Bet yet to debut operations. The company described the launch as “a momentous introduction as an online betting brand and operator in the United States” at the time.
The product launch allows Genting, the Malaysian parent company of the Resorts World brand, to secure a presence in the largest US sports market. The company took into account experience gathered through retail sports gaming provided at its two brick-and-mortar operations in the state for its new mobile product.
The mobile sports wagering experience, Monzo explained earlier this month, allows bettors to engage in betting from the comfort of their couch. But it also works in conjunction with the “big screen environment” of Bar 360 in Queens, at Resorts World New York City, or the Sportsbook 360 amenity at Resorts World Catskills.
Additionally, as part of the app’s debut, RWNYC has invested “nearly $1 million” to install digital displays across the property, which show “all of the big games throughout the year.” Meanwhile, the Catskills casino is home to “one of the only sportsbooks” offering in-person wagering in the state.
