PointsBet Holdings announced Wednesday it has completed a major change in its global leadership team with the addition of two executives, Jerry Bowskill and Andrew Catterall, and the transition to a new role for Manijit Gombra Singh.

Gombra Singh is set to transition from his Executive Director role to a Non-Executive Director position, effective June 1. His responsibilities will be taken over by Bowskill, who will join the company’s board as the new Group Chief Technology Officer from July 18. As for Catterall, he will step into the role of Australian CEO from July 4.

Singh first joined the company in July 2019 as President, Product and Technology, before being appointed as an Executive Director in October 2020. PointsBet Chairman Brett Paton said that, since Singh joined the company, he has made a significant contribution to its technology and cyber security capabilities: “Given his industry experience and leadership skills, I have no doubt that Manjit will continue to make a valuable contribution to the board.”

Bowskill, who will join the company’s board as the Group Chief Technology Officer, is an experienced technology executive, having worked as CTO and Executive Director at Capital International Group, as well as The Stars Group and Scientific Games Interactive. The new transition will be effective as of July 18.

On his appointment, Sam Swanell, PointsBet Group CEO, commented: “Jerry has a wealth of gaming technology experience across numerous organizations and brings key leadership and technology capabilities to the global business as we continue to drive our technology strategy forward.”

Bowskill commented: “I am delighted to be joining Sam and the leadership team. PointsBet have invested in building a talented delivery organisation that uses modern technologies to create great products. I am greatly looking forward to helping accelerate the pace of product innovation and business scale across multiple jurisdictions.”

Additionally, Andrew Catterall will step into the role as Australian CEO, coming from Racing.com, where he held the same position and led business through a major transformation in broadcasting, digital media, rights acquisition and commercial growth: “As the Australian business heads towards our third consecutive year of impressive growth and EBITDA profitability, Andrew has been provided a mandate to continue this growth and to seek out important strategic opportunities which can strengthen the business”, Swanell stated.

PointsBet continues developing its growth strategy, specially in North America where it has entered the Ontario market on the day of its launch back in April, and has recently received its license to operate in Pennsylvania
