Global sports betting and gaming group Entain announced Monday the appointment of Rahul Welde as an Independent Non-Executive Director. The role will take effect from July 1, 2022.
Rahul was most recently Executive Vice President of Global Digital Transformation at Unilever, where he drove digital strategies for the company’s brands. He is an Indian national and brings over 30 years of experience in the global fast-moving consumer goods sector.

Upon appointment, Welde will become a member of the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Committee. Entain has recently shared its 2021-22 ESG report, in which the company reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable markets, with 99% of revenues the past year coming from regulated jurisdictions.
