Slots and table games provider Habanero announced Wednesday the release of its latest title, Taiko Beats, a Japanese-inspired game that “prepares players for a rhythm-fueled festival.”
The title is played out on a 5×3 format, featuring an authentic soundtrack, complete with a theme inspired by the tradition of Japanese Taiko drumming, but with “a modern twist.”
Players entering the game are met with “punchy visuals and an absorbing soundtrack.” “Enhancing the experience are a host of sticky Wild Symbols, which can be upgraded by landing a winning combination during the Free Games round,” noted the provider.
The Free Games feature guarantees “a high level of excitement” and can be triggered by three Scatter symbols, giving players the chance to multiply their wins substantially. Players can also win up to 28 additional Free Games, with maximum wins worth 4,005x the bet available.
Commenting on the release, Toni Karapetrov, Head of Corporate Communications at Habanero, said: ‘Taiko Beats’s launch marks the addition of yet another Japanese-inspired title to our collection, with the focus on the art of Taiko drumming, steering it in an entirely new direction.’
‘The booming soundtrack combines elegantly with the game’s strong mathematical model, delivering a casino experience that aligns with the overall theme, and we expect it to meet the requirements of our loyal customer base,’ he added.

The release comes at a good moment for Habanero, which took home the Game Innovation award at this year’s CasinoBeats Games Developer Awards. The brand also received a shortlist in the Slot Supplier category at the EGR B2B Awards. In the last year, Habanero has also secured notable deals with the likes of 888Casino, Codere, Betway, and LeoVegas.
