Online gaming operator TonyBet announced Monday it has signed a deal with sports wagering monitoring company U.S. Integrity, a move that comes as the brand prepares to launch in the regulated Canadian sports wagering market of Ontario.

U.S. Integrity will provide integrity monitoring services via its proprietary dashboard to TonyBet. The company conducts analysis across dozens of data sets to proactively identify irregular contest-level, officiating and wagering patterns.

Victor Troitsin, Chief Executive Officer of TonyBet Group, commented: “The integrity of the sports betting experience at TonyBet is of utmost importance, and we are thrilled to be working with U.S. Integrity as we expand across the regulated Canadian market. U.S. Integrity’s proactive approach to maintaining integrity will play a pivotal role in detecting potentially suspicious wagering activity.”

Matthew Holt, U.S. Integrity’s CEO & co-founder, added: “U.S. Integrity is proud to partner with TonyBet and assist as they grow their brand across the Canadian regulated sports wagering market. U.S. Integrity’s mission is to provide conflict-free, best-in-class insights and compliance solutions to our clients. We are looking forward to working with the exceptional team at TonyBet.”

All our partners are committed to the highest integrity standards, and they are no exception,” Holt added. “These types of partnerships help ensure sports betting integrity and strengthen the unique & proprietary anomaly detection tools we have developed at U.S. Integrity.”

TonyBet plans to launch before the end of the year in Ontario. The company has 11 years of activity and operates on the SoftLabs gaming platform. TonyBet has “grown exponentially in the last two years and in multiple jurisdictions across the world, with nine online gambling licenses and nine international offices,” the brand noted in a press release.

TonyBet focuses on soccer and is established as its most popular offering due to its European presence. However, by entering the North American regulated market, the company has stated it is “excited” about diversifying its offerings.

Valters Rozmanis

In an exclusive interview with Yogonet this month, the Country Manager of the company in Latvia, Valters Rozmanis, spoke about the firm’s recent launch in that European country.

Rozmanis explained that the Latvian licensed online betting and gaming market generated EUR 190 million in gross win in 2021, having grown at a three-year CAGR (2018-21) of 26%. With a strong product in this market, the company believes they have “the key to success in the long run,” and is sure to “beat current average standards,” in Rozmanis’ words.

“Our aim is to add markets gradually and provide qualitative alternative products to the players,” Rozmanis assured. “We have filed applications for licenses in Ontario and the Netherlands, which will be in our focus after the successful application process with local regulators.”
