Testing and certification services provider Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) announced Monday the expansion of its Clients Solutions Team with the recent hiring of tribal gaming regulator Thorsten Toms as a Client Solutions Executive. In this role, Toms, who is based in Michigan, will help GLI’s clients in North America and across the globe to capitalize on the company’s tools and services.
Most recently, Toms was the Director of Gaming Administration for the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission, where he oversaw the audit, licensing, and information technology departments. During his tenure with Gun Lake, he also served as interim Executive Director.
“His extensive technical background and experience in developing automated systems to make regulatory processes more efficient will be of immense value to GLI’s clients,” the company noted. “His experience in developing and conducting compliance audits, most recently involving iGaming and sports betting, will grow GLI’s team of field services specialists.”

For her part, GLI Client Solutions Team Manager Kelly Myers added: “Thorsten is well known in the Tribal regulatory community and has more than a decade of experience assisting and training regulators.”
