Ahead of ICE London 2023, set to take place on February 7-9 at ExCel London, Yogonet caught up Yulia Aliakseyeva, co-Chief Product Owner at BGaming, on what products the iGaming developer will be presenting and her expectations for the event.
This time around, the online gaming provider is set to leave its mark in London through an exclusive collaboration with London-based artist Thumbs, the showcase of its latest mobile-friendly games, and the reveal of details about the company’s latest product – a player loyalty program.
What products will BGaming showcase at ICE London? What will attendees approaching the booth find?
We’re definitely thrilled to be bringing our diverse range of products to the upcoming edition of ICE London! We’ve got a portfolio packed with over 90 mobile-friendly games, featuring everything from traditional and popular slots to fresh casual games that are a hit with crypto operators, roulettes and board games. This year, we’re excited to announce the release of our scratch games in Latin America. These games have already proven to be extremely popular in the region. And the best part? Operators can access all of these games through one simple API integration.
Our main focus is on delivering a unique and high-quality experience for players, and we know that standing out in a crowded market is key for operators. That’s why we’re putting a spotlight on our brand-exclusive and customized games, which have become a unique selling point for BGaming. By analyzing data from the casino operator and delivering content exclusively to their registered players, we can increase player retention and loyalty, resulting in higher revenues for the casino. And that’s not all – we’ll also be revealing details about our new product, a player loyalty program, at the show. This program is designed to increase player engagement and retention, and we’re confident it will be a valuable add-on for operators.
Visitors approaching our booth will also have the opportunity to see our popular game characters, such as Elvis Frog, Joker Queen, Cactus Cowboy Johnny Cash, in a new light, thanks to our exclusive collaboration with London-based artist Thumbs. This collaboration is a testament to our commitment to experimenting and pushing the boundaries of what is possible within the iGaming industry, and we’ll be bringing similar collaborations to all major iGaming events in 2023 to support local talents. Plus, we’ve created a limited edition of swag and presents featuring Thumbs’ unique take on our game characters. These are truly one-of-a-kind items that you don’t want to miss out on! So make sure to stop by our booth and snag one for yourself or your team.
Given ICE London’s status as one of the major global events in the industry, what are your expectations and objectives for the expo?
As one of the major global events in the industry, we have high expectations for ICE London. Our main objective is to network with other industry leaders and showcase our innovative approach to game development and our commitment to delivering personalized and unique experiences to players.
Our team is always open to new ideas and discussions. We believe that the synergy of operators’ and providers’ visions and pain points can lead to something truly innovative. And what better place than ICE London to connect with industry leaders? We’re confident that our proven, high-performing offers and new ideas in the pipeline for 2023 will be interesting for the guests of the expo.
BGaming’s technical, business and creative teams will be at the expo, which means the guests will be able to chat with us about any aspect of game development and promotion. We’re hoping to make some new connections and expand our reach in the industry. But most importantly, we’re looking forward to having face-to-face interactions with our potential and current clients and understanding their needs and expectations more accurately.
The company has called brand-exclusive and customized games “a unique selling point” for BGaming. What sets these products apart and how does the company approach them?
Our approach to developing brand-exclusive and customized games is driven by our belief that personalization and uniqueness are key growing trends in the iGaming industry. By collaborating with casino operators, analyzing their gaming data, and delivering content exclusively to registered players, we provide a truly personalized and unique experience for players. We recognized early on that the traditional approach to custom game development was complicated, time-consuming, and expensive, so we focused on overcoming these challenges. Currently, BGaming’s technical team is armed with a flexible tool to produce games quickly and cost-effectively, without compromising on quality. This process allows us to deliver high-quality custom games in collaboration with casino operators for minimal price or even for free.
Depending on the level of customization we offer a wide range of mechanics and mathematical models as a base game, and we are able to make fine adjustments to meet the specific needs of our casino partners. There are options to add or remove gamble rounds and bonus games, adjust art concepts to local player preferences, integrate new characters and sound design, and add operator branding. Our analytics have shown that custom games created for a particular casino and adjusted to match player preferences perform better and stay at the casino’s top for a longer period of time.
As the demand for custom games from casino operators continues to grow, we are cementing our reputation as a trusted partner who helps online casinos deliver the best tailor-made experiences to their players. We release 3-4 custom games per month, partnering with leading online casino projects such as Stake.com, Blaze, BitStarz.
BGaming said it will reveal details about its new product, BGaming Drops, which aims to raise player engagement. What can you tell us about this solution?
Currently, we are developing a comprehensive player loyalty program that aims to increase player engagement and retention. One of the components of this program is a randomized, real-time rewards system, known within the industry as Drops. We will definitely reveal more information about the loyalty program and its features at the upcoming ICE London event. Stay tuned!
The event comes as we enter a new year for gambling. What is your assessment of the company’s performance in 2022, and what should we expect from it in 2023?
I am thrilled to say that we had a successful year in 2022, with impressive growth in key metrics such as gross gaming revenue and player engagement. We also expanded our operations on regulated markets, obtained a new gaming license in Romania and are in the process of getting licenses in Greece, Bulgaria, Georgia and Slovakia. But we also took an active role in giving back to the community, partnering with organizations such as the World Boxing Council and the Klitschko Foundation to provide financial assistance to people affected by the terrible war in Ukraine.
Looking ahead to 2023, our goal is to solidify our position as the most social and player-driven game provider in the industry. We’re constantly experimenting, gathering feedback and involving real players in the game development process. We are putting a strong emphasis on creating content that appeals to a younger audience, tending to have higher demands for the whole gaming experience, as we believe that is a key area for growth in the industry.
In terms of new trends, we expect to see more emphasis on data-driven game development and creating content for a younger audience. We’re already investing in these areas and adapting our products and services to the changing needs and preferences of our customers. So, whether you’re a casino operator or just an industry enthusiast, be sure to stop by our booth at ICE London and see what we have in store for 2023. And don’t forget, we created a limited edition of presents, so don’t miss the opportunity to bring something truly unique and creative from our collaboration with London-based artist Thumbs!
