The Hilton Buenos Aires Hotel and Convention Center hosted the thirty-first edition of SAGSE in Argentina, an event that met the expectations of the exhibiting companies and attracted a large number of visitors, who flooded the halls and stands throughout the day.
More than 50 conferences, round tables, and lectures were scheduled for the two days, which gave the event a very attractive character, with a large audience and, above all, high-level operators from all over the region, who guaranteed an effective presence to the exhibitors. The conferences were attended by the public throughout the event, and more than 180 people were present at the venue to see the exhibitors up close from 10:00 a.m. onwards.
An interesting mix between the spirit of reunion and comradeship of the industry, as well as a very professional business environment sought by the organizers, were characteristics of the exhibition area at SAGSE Latam, an event that was able to capitalize on the return to the on-site experience of last year and double the bet towards a more attractive and effective trade show for its exhibitors.
As for the opinion of the companies and regulators present, from the information gathered by Yogonet, there was unanimity regarding the professionalism of the event, which allowed the generation of business meetings and agreements between companies, in addition to very good attendance.
In addition to the presence of companies supplying elements for land-based casinos and gaming halls, the online segment had, as in 2022, a prominent role in the exhibition hall, which was to be expected, taking into account the formalization process of the main jurisdictions in the country for the online gambling industry.
“We are very happy, and we feel that we managed to renew or improve this SAGSE proposal in Argentina. We have worked hard to improve the conditions for exhibiting companies, to maximize the effectiveness of their investment… and upon seeing the attendance, and listening to the comments of all those present, we are grateful and very convinced that we are on the right track,” said Alan Burak, vice-president of Monografie, in a dialogue with Yogonet.
During the evening of the first day, the organizers held the Great Gaming Gala at the HipĆ³dromo Argentino de Palermo. After 9:00 p.m., a large number of guests gathered in the halls of the Buenos Aires racing circus and participated in a very exclusive event, where the business meetings held during the day were extended, accompanied by a delicious food and beverage service.
There was an emotional video tribute to the creator of SAGSE, Giorgio Gennari Litta, who passed away a few weeks ago in Buenos Aires, a moment in which the Monografie team was overwhelmed by the absence of the famous businessman for the first time since the creation of SAGSE 31 years ago.
The halls and terraces of the Paddock Grandstand then witnessed the Gennari Litta Grand Prix, a race in which four runners sponsored by Playtech, Bombay Live, Sportingtech, and BetWarrior took part, adding an original and picturesque touch to the event.
“All the feedback has been very positive, the guests enjoyed the exhibition, and we have nothing but words of gratitude for all of them, who have made our thirty-first anniversary of SAGSE Latam a huge success. To all of them, thank you very much,” concluded Burak in an exclusive interview with Yogonet.
