Tachi Palace Casino Resort in Leemore, California, unveiled its refreshed property at a ribbon-cutting event on Wednesday, May 24th. The renovation brings in “an expansive casino resort property” that includes two new bars, a redesigned table games pit area, and an expanded overall footprint. The ribbon cutting was led by members of the Tachi Yokut Tribal Council and the Tachi Palace leadership team.
Michael Olujic, General Manager of Tachi Palace Casino Resort, said: “Tachi Palace is excited to unveil our new look, with no corner of the casino left untouched. The updates made throughout the property enhance the luxury of our ultimate four-star getaway destination.”
Olujic further added: “Tachi Palace continues to offer high-quality accommodations in a beautiful and relaxing location. The recent property-wide renovations solidify us as a fun and relaxing retreat.”
The renovated resort features slot machines, table games, live entertainment, five restaurants, a spa, and an entertainment center with bowling, movies, and an arcade.
The new property is the result of continuous and phased improvements. In March this year, Tachi Palace Casino Resort announced the completed renovation of the Casino of the Moon gaming space, new upgrades to the main entrance of Tachi Palace, and the opening of a new breezeway to the Coyote Entertainment Center.
The 60,000-square-foot Casino of the Moon is described as a gaming space that offers a relaxing environment that mimics the energy and feel of the moon. Meanwhile, the Sun Table Games Pit area is inspired by brilliant sun themes offering “a brighter, more exciting, high-energy gaming atmosphere.”
According to the casino, feedback has already been positive for the expansion project, which has taken three and a half years to complete. The renovation has helped the local economy by adding about 100 jobs.
