Canadian betting and media company Rivalry announced Tuesday that Steven Salz, Co-founder and CEO, and David King, Director of Product Design, will present at the Canadian Gaming Summit 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, on June 14.

Steven Salz will deliver a keynote session titled ‘Building brand equity and customer loyalty in sports betting through content, creators, and internet culture.’ The presentation will cover the various marketing strategies taken up by sportsbooks in a bid to acquire and engage a fleeting customer base, as well as case study examples showcasing how operators can leverage content, creativity, and influencers to drive meaningful business results.

Dave King will join other industry leaders in a panel discussion titled ‘Game mechanics and UX – how much innovation is healthy for online casino,’ alongside Caesars Digital and BetMGM representatives. The session will explore the opportunities to innovate the design and user experience in online casinos through inspiration from the video game industry.

Canadian Gaming Summit is Canada’s premier iGaming and sports betting conference. The event will attract 2,000 casino, sports betting, payments, technology, and investment industry delegates from top companies and firms globally, including FanDuel, DraftKings, bet365, Better Collective, PayPal, Catena Media, Entain, Rush Street Interactive, and many more. 

Last week, Rivalry launched its esports wagering mobile app in Ontario. The app promises “the region’s largest selection of esports to bet on,” including popular games like League of Legends, Valorant, and Counter-Strike, as well as wagering on mobile titles, including Call of Duty: Mobile, Free Fire, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
