Brazil is a market for online gambling that has seen exponential growth in the interest of international operators in the sector. The imminent regulation of sports betting and the advance of regulations in Congress have allowed the local market to develop significantly in the last three years, making it one of the most thriving in Latin America.
This fact did not go unnoticed by the organizers of the Brazilian iGaming Summit (BiS), who last year had already achieved great attendance in Sao Paulo. However, this year they undoubtedly surpassed themselves in every possible aspect and placed the event, together with its SiGMA peers, among the most important in the region.
It should be noted that the Transamerica Expo Convention Center was the setting for a high-level international trade fair, unmatched by any other event held to date in Latin America, which generated, on its first day, an immense, surprising, and noteworthy business framework.
The wide aisles of the exhibition area were in constant movement, the public attendance was massive and the more than 220 exhibitors present were rewarded for their confidence throughout the day with a flow of businessmen and executives from all over Brazil, as well as from several Latin American countries.
The names of leading companies in the online segment, such as Pragmatic Play, BetConstruct, Evolution, SportingTech, SoftSwiss, Paybrokers, Eightroom, Amusnet, Creedroomz, Slotegrator, Pinnacle, Uplatform, Soft2bet, Endorphina, Sportradar, GLI, Skilrock, Vibra Gaming or Digitain, among many others, occupied prominent spaces in the exhibition hall, and their executives held interviews and business meetings from 9:00 a.m. until after 6:00 p.m., at which time the activity moved to the Dasian restaurant, where the Brazilian iGaming Awards 2023 took place.
Regarding the conferences, which this year were partially overshadowed by the imposing exhibition area, the day began promptly at 9:00 a.m. with the presence and words of its organizers, Alessandro Valente, founding partner of SuperAfiliados; Carlos Cardama, creator of Games Magazine Brazil; and Eman Pulis, from SiGMA.
The talks kept the public interested in the two conference rooms set up throughout the day, and at times the main hall was crowded with people, which shows the interest that this type of training and analysis space still rises in Brazil.
In this way, BiS SiGMA America 2023 was able to convince everyone that Brazil is on its way to growth, offering great business potential that places it in the spotlight of the online gaming industry at a global level, and its organizers were able to convert this into a success of attendance, which promises the event a great future in the region.
