Win Systems, a supplier of technology for the gaming industry, participated in the latest edition of Peru Gaming Show (PGS 2023), an event that brought together leading companies in the sector in June.

Jerico Gilabert, Win Systems’ Sales Manager Gaming Peru, spoke exclusively with Yogonet to analyze the experiences lived at the event and to discuss the next challenges to be faced in the Peruvian market.

How was Win Systems’ experience at Peru Gaming Show?

Our experience at Peru Gaming Show was really enriching and successful. The PGS show has always been a key event in our calendar in Latin America, and we have always wanted to participate due to its importance and relevance in the region. It is vital for us to keep up with the changing demands of Peruvian players and the technological evolution in the gaming industry, and PGS is the perfect scenario for that.

Do you think you were able to meet the objectives set for the meeting?

Our main objective is to continue strengthening our position as technology suppliers in strategic markets, and PGS was the perfect meeting to empower us in that sense in Peru. Our latest participation in the fair has not only allowed us to achieve our initial objectives but has also opened the door to new and interesting projects that imply a great challenge ahead.

This achievement is the result of great teamwork and our close relationship with our customers, which allows us to understand their needs first-hand. This closeness with the operators drives us to constantly improve and bring to the Peruvian market solutions that make a difference.

What was the feedback you received from the attendees?

We are very pleased with the feedback we have received from visitors to both our Gaming and Systems Divisions. The feedback we receive at industry events is usually very positive, and we are convinced that this is due to our commitment to our customers’ needs and requirements. The latest releases we have presented are a reflection of that commitment and stand out for offering cutting-edge technology to continue taking the gaming operation and experience to the next level.

Can you confirm your presence at other industry events in the coming months?

We remain committed to our strategy of growth and global expansion, in the coming months we will be focusing on events in the United States, such as the OIGA (Oklahoma Indian Gaming Association) conference and G2E (Global Gaming Expo). Undoubtedly, these upcoming meetings will allow us to continue strengthening our growth in the region.

What topics and issues do you think should be addressed within these events in the region?

The Gaming sector is constantly evolving and stands out for its dynamism, which implies a high level of demand for both operators and suppliers. In this scenario, fairs become key spaces where the needs of players and operators, the technological solutions offered by suppliers, and the regulations established by the authorities to promote the development of the sector all come together. Therefore, we believe it is essential to have these forums.

What is your analysis of the current state of the industry in Peru?

The gaming industry in Peru has experienced significant growth in recent years, and it will surely continue to evolve and present interesting opportunities for companies in the sector.

Fortunately, the pandemic is behind us and casinos are investing heavily to maintain player loyalty. In this context, providers must offer high-level technological innovation to meet these demands.

It is also essential to have a stable regulatory environment adapted to the needs of the market, including the integration of online gaming as a new industry need.

In this sense, at Win Systems we are focused on continuing to develop innovative solutions, fully adapted to the Peruvian market, to further strengthen our leadership as a technology provider in the gaming industry.
