Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands resort has signed a multi-year partnership deal with the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 racing team. The announcement comes ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, to take place from September 15 to 17. As part of the deal, the facade of the building will be lit up in Ferrari red throughout the race weekend.

The event will also showcase a replica of the iconic car SF90, which competed in the 2019 F1 season, at the hotel lobby from September 11 to 18. The partnership activations will also feature Ferrari drivers including Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz, and Team Principal and General Manager of Scuderia Ferrari Frederic Vasseur.

In a press statement, Scuderia Ferrari said that it is pleased to have reached the agreement with Marina Bay Sands. It described the integrated resort as “a symbol of excellence in the hospitality industry,” and that it will now be able to count on the Scuderia “to bring the excitement of Formula 1 closer to its clientele” through several dedicated activities.

Paul Gandolfi, Head of Partnership Development at Scuderia Ferrari, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Marina Bay Sands to our family of partners. Our two brands united in luxury, ambition and the pursuit of quality and excellence, look forward to developing meaningful and memorable experiences for our fans and customers starting with the hugely popular F1 Singapore Grand Prix.”

Paul Town, Chief Operating Officer of Marina Bay Sands, added: “We are delighted to unveil our brand partnership with Scuderia Ferrari, the most successful F1 team in history. This collaboration unites two iconic brands centered around our joint pursuit of excellence. We look forward to offering thrilling activations that immerse our visitors in the excitement of this remarkable partnership during the upcoming night race in Singapore.”
