MGM Resorts has announced plans to add The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to its MGM Rewards program. The integration is set to take place on February 1, 2024, bringing a new array of offerings to gaming and non-gaming customers in Las Vegas.
Steve Zanella, Chief Commercial Officer for MGM Resorts, expressed enthusiasm about the forthcoming integration, stating: “Welcoming The Cosmopolitan into MGM Rewards is an important and exciting milestone in the evolution of our loyalty program experience.”
“The Cosmopolitan will add an entirely new set of ways for gaming and non-gaming customers to enjoy all of the unforgettable, exceptional moments MGM Resorts and Las Vegas have to offer.”
The MGM Rewards migration will aim to ensure a seamless transition for members of Identity, The Cosmopolitan’s existing rewards program. Prior to the integration, members will receive detailed communications about the switch to MGM Rewards.
In the meantime, Identity members will have the flexibility to continue playing and earning with their current program, with their earnings carrying over and contributing to their MGM Rewards Tier Status in 2024.
Furthermore, all Identity Points accumulated by members will be transferred to their MGM Rewards membership in accordance with the program’s rules, MGM noted. Combined Tier Credits will be utilized to determine the Tier Status within MGM Rewards, maintaining continuity for loyal customers.
The integration, set for February, will grant all MGM Rewards members the opportunity to earn and use MGM Rewards Points, Slot Dollars, and Tier Credits across their experiences at The Cosmopolitan. This includes accommodations, dining, entertainment, as well as slots and table games.
