Station Casinos has announced the launch of its hiring job websites and the rollout of a new recruitment campaign throughout Las Vegas to hire for over 1000 positions at the upcoming Durango Casino & Resort in the city.
The resort, which is scheduled to open on November 20th, 2023 is set to hire people for 1,200 positions at all levels and in all departments, including for the roles of table games dealers, slot attendants, public area porters, housekeeping, security, and both food and beverage front of house and back of house.
Interested applicants can apply online at getajobatdurango.com or trabajaendurango.com. Station Casinos notes that the property’s third-party restaurants will also begin hiring in the coming weeks and will have job listings referred from the Durango job site.
As per News3LV, Durango featured over 1,600 construction workers, and the property will hire nearly 1,500 full-time team members by opening day. Station Casinos will provide free Team Member healthcare for all employees, including their family members who make less than $100,000 a year.
The opening date for the Durango Resort & casino was announced earlier this month. It will feature 200 hotel rooms, convention and meeting space, a resort pool with cabanas, outdoor social areas, and free parking. The property is also set to feature 15 restaurants, including four signature outlets and a food hall.
The property is located on South Durango Drive near the 215 Beltway and is priced at $780 million. It is expected to be the only unrestricted gaming property in a five-mile radius in what has been called one of the fastest-growing areas of the Las Vegas Valley.
