The Cayuga Nation has expanded its presence in the gaming industry with the grand opening of Lakeside Entertainment 4, marking the addition of yet another Class II gaming facility to its portfolio.
Situated at 271 Cayuga St. in the Cayuga County village (New York state), the new casino joins a roster of already operational facilities, including another at the same address, as well as those located at 2552 Route 89 and 126 E. Bayard St. in Seneca Falls.
Under the Class II gaming category, the focus is on games of chance commonly associated with bingo. This category encompasses games played in the same location as bingo, incorporating electronic, computer, or other technological aids, along with activities like pull tabs, punch boards, tip jars, instant bingo, and games akin to bingo.
Clint Halftown, the leader of the Cayuga Nation, expressed his enthusiasm about the new establishment and its significance for the community. “We are thrilled to unveil our latest venture, Lakeside Entertainment 4, which represents the progress of our people,” he stated.
The aspiration behind this new addition aims to drive economic development and enhance the well-being of both citizens and community members.
Lakeside Entertainment 4 boasts a total of 128 gaming machines. This feature positions it as the largest casino within the Cayuga Nation’s gaming lineup. Collaborating with Everi Gaming, the Nation has ensured a diverse range of gaming options, further enhancing the gaming experience for visitors.
Halftown highlighted the inclusivity of their hiring policy, mentioning that both Cayuga citizens and non-Nation members can apply for positions across any of the casinos operated by the Cayuga Nation.
