Starting from Tuesday, August 29, The Venetian Resort and the Palazzo will discontinue offering complimentary parking to visitors. This change comes as the establishments introduce new parking fees to both registered hotel guests and non-hotel guests.
Registered hotel guests will face self-parking charges of $18 per day beginning September 5. For non-hotel guests, the new parking fee structure entails a charge of $15 for up to four hours on Monday through Thursday.
The rate increases to $18 for parking periods between four and 24 hours on Monday through Thursday. On Friday through Sunday, the fee for non-hotel guests rises to $23 per day. Valet parking services will continue to be priced at $35 per day.
Despite the changes in the resort’s policy, Nevada residents will continue to have the privilege of accessing three hours of free parking. Loyalty cardholders with at least a premier status will also receive free self-parking.
The policy change came “after evaluating operations and business demand,” the resort previously said on July 14.
This move comes in the wake of several Strip establishments discontinuing complimentary parking. Golden Entertainment‘s The Strat resort in Las Vegas introduced parking charges in April this year. Previously, MGM Resorts and Caesars Entertainment properties also began charging customers for parking.
