Sports betting and iGaming operator BetMGM has officially inaugurated the BetMGM Sportsbook at The Banks in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. This move relocates the sports wagering venue from its previous temporary location to a permanent and “state-of-the-art” facility adjacent to Great American Ball Park at the Banks along the Ohio River.
The new BetMGM Sportsbook, situated at the corner of Second Street and Joe Nuxhall Way, occupies the former Galla Park Gastro restaurant space. It has a 350-square-foot video wall and 42 TVs, and is described as “a premier destination for sports enthusiasts looking to catch all the action in an electrifying gameday atmosphere.”
Open to patrons aged 21 and older, the sportsbook offers three in-person wagering windows, 14 self-service betting kiosks, and seating for over 200 visitors. Additionally, it features an exclusive VIP lounge for a premium experience, featuring a private bar, state-of-the-art screens, and seating.
The opening of the BetMGM Sportsbook at The Banks represents Phase 1 of the project, with Phase 2 set to introduce a full-service restaurant from Nation Kitchen & Bar later in the year.
BetMGM became the Official Sports Betting Partner of the Cincinnati Reds as part of a multi-year agreement announced last October, ahead of Ohio’s launch of legalized sports betting on January 1, 2023.

The BetMGM Sportsbook’s operating hours are as follows:
- Sunday: 8 a.m. – Midnight
- Monday: 11 a.m. – Midnight
- Tuesday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Wednesday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Thursday: 11 a.m. – Midnight
- Friday: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. – Midnight
