The American Gambling Awards has announced FanDuel Sportsbook as the 2023 “Online Sportsbook of the Year.” The awards are produced by Gambling.com Group Limited, a provider of player acquisition services for the regulated global online gambling industry.
In a statement announcing the awards, Gambling.com noted that FanDuel has established itself as the leading online sportsbook in the United States with 44% market share and currently stands at 48% gross gaming revenue share year-to-date for 2023, topping all U.S. operators.
Judges cited FanDuel’s commitment to customer engagement through innovative product offerings like being the first to market with Same Game Parlays. They also cited FanDuel’s strategic partnerships as another driver of its success. During the judging period, FanDuel was an official sports wagering partner of the Kentucky Derby, making it the only sportsbook where fans could place bets on the race.
