In a bid to extend its growing portfolio, Breeze Airways, a low-cost carrier, has announced the introduction of new flight routes, linking two American casino markets. Starting from January 12, 2024, Breeze Airways will launch flights connecting Gulfport, Mississippi, with two destinations, Las Vegas and Tampa.
Additionally, travelers can anticipate the commencement of flights between Raleigh-Durham and Akron-Canton in Ohio, scheduled for takeoff on February 2, 2024. Breeze Airways has set its sights on bridging cities that currently lack direct flight options.
This strategic move aims to provide residents of Gulfport and Biloxi, Mississippi, with convenient and affordable access to Las Vegas and Tampa, two of the United States’ most sought-after destinations.
Tom Doxey, President of Breeze Airways, shared: “Breeze seeks to connect cities that currently don’t have any nonstop flight options. Now residents of Gulfport and Biloxi will have convenient and affordable service to Las Vegas or Tampa, two of the country’s most popular destinations.”
In a bid to make these new routes more enticing to travelers, Breeze Airways has announced a special promotional fare launch. Prices for these new routes are set to begin at $29 one-way from Mississippi to Tampa and $59 to Las Vegas.
Breeze Airways, founded in 2021 by former JetBlue founder David Neeleman, operates under a low-cost model with three distinct fare options, namely “Nice,” “Nicer,” and “Nicest.” The newest offering, Breeze Ascent, incorporates features such as checked baggage, complimentary snacks, beverages, in-seat AC power, and USB and USB-C charging ports.
