The 2023 edition of SBC Summit Latinoamérica, set to take place from October 31 to November 2, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Miami, is fast approaching. Organizers have now announced they expect attendance to witness a threefold increase from last year’s edition, as 3,000 delegates are set to attend.

The exhibition and conference, specifically designed for iGaming and sports betting professionals with a Latin American emphasis, will play host to influential decision-makers from regional and global operators, affiliates, and suppliers as well as regulators, media, and sports team representatives.

The event will serve as a platform for in-depth conversations concerning business opportunities in the region, informed by the prevailing regulatory landscapes in key markets such as BrazilPeruColombiaChilePuerto RicoMexico, and Argentina, among others. Additionally, it will shed light on both current and future industry trends that are reshaping the dynamics of the diverse Latin American markets.

Spanning November 1 and November 2, the core event days will see the conference agenda divided across three simultaneous rooms. November 1 marks the start of the agenda with a keynote fireside chat. The conversation will feature Julio Cesar Tamayo, CEO of Wplay, in a discussion with Evert Montero Cárdenas, President of Colombia’s trade association Fecoljuegos. Together, they will analyze the industry’s role in the global economy, shedding light on its susceptibility to political and economic changes and its potential to drive increased value within communities.

Kicking off the second day, November 2, the opening keynote will feature BetWarrior CEO Zeno Ossko and Mariano Zabaleta, former professional tennis player and current VP of the Argentine Tennis Association. Their discussion will delve into the connections between operators and sports teams and associations, with a specific focus on BetWarrior’s sponsorship arrangements with the Argentine Football and Tennis Associations.

The conference schedule, delivered by over 150 speakers, will address pivotal topics, including strategies for capitalizing on emerging opportunities in the Brazilian market as regulations evolve, the establishment of trust within Latin American markets, effective entry strategies, and a comprehensive understanding of the key principles for successful customer acquisition and retention in Latin America. 

It will also explore how the digital domain can draw insights from land-based industry leaders, the collaborative potential of the industry with sports teams to expand its outreach, the development of esports in the region, navigating existing advertising restrictions, and a series of panels dedicated to player protection, among numerous other vital subjects.
