Station Casinos has released new renderings of its planned Inspirada hotel project in Henderson as it waits for the approval of a development agreement with the city.
Las Vegas Review-Journal accessed documents filed with Henderson that show the project will house 201 rooms, about 58,000 square feet of casino space, and almost 7,000 square feet of meeting space. The development would also have three restaurants, a food hall, a 12-lane bowling alley, and a movie theater.
The new project will resemble the Red Rock and Green Valley Ranch Resorts. The Henderson City Council last December approved selling a 3.76-acre plot of land in Inspirada to Station Casinos for nearly $2 million. The acquired land is adjacent to a few dozen more acres that are also owned by Station Casinos.
Earlier in 2022, Station Casinos had initially said that the project in the Inspirada community, at the southern edge of the Las Vegas Valley, could have as many as 600 hotel rooms, 80,000 square feet of casino space, and 30,000 square feet of meeting space. Station Casinos had noted that Inspirada Station would be built in three stages.
The development agreement for the Inspirada hotel project is set to be considered by the Henderson Planning Commission at its next meeting on Thursday. If the agreement is approved, construction will start on or before October 9th, 2029.
As per the publication, the Henderson City Council in May approved a land-use designation change for the hotel project to be built in the Inspirada community.
Station Casinos’ parent company Red Rock Resorts had earlier noted that it hopes to double its Nevada footprint in the next decade. It recently started taking reservations for its project Durango in southwest Las Vegas, where it will open its doors for guests on December 5th. It was earlier scheduled to open on November 20th.
