California’s Thunder Valley Casino Resort is planning to fill over 100 job positions in early 2024. The Lincoln casino has announced that it will host several job fairs during the month of January to recruit for full-time and part-time roles in various departments.
The vacancies are for housekeepers, housepersons, janitorial porters, emergency medical technicians, security officers, cage cashiers, table games dealers, food servers, cooks, food court attendants, bus persons, beverage servers, beverage porters and kitchen workers.
Those interested in the available positions can visit the Thunder Valley Employment Center on specified dates for walk-in interviews.
• Jan. 6 (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.): Open job fair
•Jan. 9 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Housekeeping and international maintenance
•Jan. 10 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Food and beverage
•Jan. 12 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Security
•Jan. 16 (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.): Table games (Open to experience dealers)
•Jan. 17 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Culinary
•Jan. 23 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Housekeeping and internal maintenance
• Jan. 24 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Food and beverage
•Jan. 30 (1 p.m. to 4 p.m.): Table games (open to experience dealers)
•Jan. 31 (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.): Culinary
Candidates are advised to complete applications online prior to arrival, as on-site interviews will be conducted.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, but some positions will require applicants to be at least 21 years old. Those selected in the hiring process will need to undergo a drug test and a background check.
