Caesars Entertainment has announced the completion of its expansion project at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. The significant development, encompassing over 30,000 additional square feet, introduces a blend of gaming and dining experiences to the property.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Tuesday, January 9 to mark the grand opening of the renovated property. The event was attended by Caesars executives, including Caesars Entertainment Regional President Dan Nita and Colin Skidmore, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Harrah’s Hoosier Park, alongside other guests.

“Caesars Entertainment and Harrah’s Hoosier Park are thrilled to unveil our reimagined Hoosier Park experience. From dining to gaming, guests won’t recognize our property’s transformation to become your upgraded destination for FUN,” Skidmore said. “We’re excited to provide more of everything our guests and team members love here at Hoosier Park and invite you to experience it yourself. We’re waiting to welcome you with everything you’d expect from a premier Caesars Entertainment property.”

The $40 million project is the largest investment by Caesars Entertainment in Harrah’s Hoosier Park since its acquisition in 2018. As part of the expansion, the casino floor has been completely reimagined, featuring more than 1,450 slot machines, 40 table games and a dedicated promotions and events center specialized for drawings, giveaways, and more. The property also boasts a High Limits Room, which has been expanded to include table games, a bar area, and restroom facilities.

The expansion includes the Center Bar’s new design and a new restaurant area, featuring Dash Café and Slice Pizzeria, which are conveniently accessible from the casino floor alongside a view of the racetrack. Additionally, the Caesars Rewards Center has been converted into a Caesars Rewards Experience Center, allowing guests easy access to many promotional kiosks and representatives to assist guests using mobile tablets. The project also introduces a comprehensive aesthetic update to the property, including new carpeting, lighting, signage, and a central medallion. The exterior transformation showcases a redesigned porte-cochere, a prominently lit Harrah’s Hoosier Park sign, and an inviting façade. The parking area has also been restructured to provide ample accessible parking, with special consideration for disabled guests and veterans.

Since acquiring the property, Caesars introduced the Sportsbook in 2019, launching table games in 2020, and unveiling the Hoosier Outdoor Pavilion in 2023. The property has also hosted the Breeders Crown in 2020 and 2023.
