SIS (Sports Information Services), a content supplier of 24/7 live betting services, has agreed on a deal with the Korea Racing Authority to expand its Live Racing content with premium horse racing fixtures from the country.
The deal provides 202 fixtures annually from Busan and Seoul with the 1800 races serving as a key addition to SIS’ output. Featuring action from a highly regarded territory, the launch aims to bring with it increased betting opportunities for operators all over the world, with race times complementing existing SIS content from Australia.
The company called the addition of Korean racing “the next step” in SIS optimizing its global coverage. It serves as the latest in a series of international expansions, with SIS adding racing content from Australia and South Africa in recent months.
SIS’ 24/7 Live Betting Channels, which provide live coverage of global horse racing events across the year, are delivered as an end-to-end solution including live streamed pictures, data, and on-screen graphics with betting triggers, in addition to a range of markets and prices.
Conall McSorley, Head of International Horse Racing, EMEA at SIS, said: “Korea has long provided quality racing, and by enhancing our content offering to include fixtures from Busan and Seoul, we are providing operators and their customers with the broadest range of betting opportunities from around the world.
“SIS is very familiar with the Korean racing product, and with our specialist traders pricing markets, we are sure that both operators and bettors will respond positively,” McSorley added.
SuHyeong Lee, Head of International Races and Relations at the Korea Racing Authority, said: “SIS is renowned throughout the industry for delivering the best international racing content and we are thrilled to be able to expand the visibility of our racing through this deal. We firmly believe this will successfully widen the popularity of horse racing from Korea and are sure that our offering will be well received globally.”
Earlier this month, SIS agreed on a deal to showcase racing from all three of Poland’s tracks. With action taking place from April to November, the 60 meetings available annually will increase short-form betting opportunities for operators.
