Mark Tricano, former President of luxury resort Fontainebleau Las Vegas, has taken up a new role at Station Casinos as Senior Vice President of operations. Tricano returns to the locals casino operator, having previously served as General Manager of Red Rock hotel-casino from 2012 to 2015.
Scott Kreeger, president of Station Casinos, said: “Mark is a talented casino executive who not only knows our company well, but his extensive operations and analytics background will bring immense value to our organization. We are thrilled to welcome him back to the family and look forward to his contributions.”
While Tricano’s return to Station Casinos marks a familiar territory, his extensive industry experience also includes roles at Hong Kong-based Galaxy Entertainment Corp., Caesars Entertainment, and JACK Entertainment. At Galaxy Entertainment, he oversaw operations and labor strategy as a Senior Vice President.
Tricano took charge as President of Fontainebleau last June. He led the luxury resort for about seven months during its run-up to the opening in mid-December and the first six weeks of operation. However, following the appointment of Maurice Wooden, a former Wynn executive, as President in late January, Tricano was shifted to an undisclosed position reporting to Wooden.
“We are thrilled to have welcomed Maurice Wooden as the president of Fontainebleau Las Vegas,” the resort said in a statement Tuesday. “Wooden’s integration has already made a positive impact on the organization.” A Fontainebleau representative said Tricano was integral to the opening and wished him luck in his new role, as reported by Las Vegas Review-Journal.
