Michigan’s Gun Lake Casino (GLC) has named Trevor Hayden as its new Vice President of Operations. Under this role, Hayden will oversee various departments, including gaming, operations, and facilities. He joins GLC as it undergoes its Phase 5 expansion.
Hayden has a robust management record in the gaming industry that spans international jurisdictions, GLC highlighted in a press statement. His career includes management roles for gaming companies and gaming manufacturers in Canada, Latin America, and Las Vegas, where he served as Director of Operations at the Mirage and Treasure Island casinos.
“We are thrilled to announce the addition of Trevor Hayden to our management team here at Gun Lake Casino,” said Jose Flores, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Gun Lake Casino. “Trevor’s wealth of experience managing large-scale operations, developing and administering substantial budgets, and leading diverse teams are a great complement to our operations.”
Last month, Gun Lake Casino announced a $10 million renovation to enhance its food and beverage, entertainment, and gaming amenities. This will entail the construction of a new Crossroads Casino Bar and lounge, a high-limit table games room, and a new restaurant, Lucky Dragon Noodle Bar, offering noodles and Asian cuisine. The new renovations are scheduled to open by year’s end.
Furthermore, A major expansion project is simultaneously under construction at GLC, which is known as Phase 5. It will bring a 252-room Four Diamond hotel, multiple indoor swimming pools, a full-service spa, new dining options, and more. The $300 million expansion is scheduled to open in 2025.
