Wisconsin’s Oneida Casino has announced an expansion in its sports betting services, making the Oneida Casino Sportsbook mobile app accessible anywhere on Oneida Nation land, in addition to its physical casino locations. The expanded access to mobile sports betting became effective on March 13, 2024.
Louise Cornelius, the General Manager of Oneida Gaming, said: “We are very excited to announce this significant expansion. As the first casino in Wisconsin to introduce sports betting, we are dedicated to providing the best experience for our customers and this is an improvement they have been asking for.”
The expansion encompasses the entire Oneida Nation reservation land, excluding PreK-12 school land. “This strategic opportunity allows us to better meet the growing demands of legal sports wagering,” said Cornelius.
New users of the Oneida Casino Sportsbook app will still need to activate their accounts at designated physical locations, including the Oneida Casino, Main-Airport, or West Madison locations. Account deposits and withdrawals will also continue to be handled at these locations.
Last month, the Oneida Indian Nation revealed plans for a $50 million expansion at its Point Place Casino in Bridgeport, Madison County. The expansion project, to commence in the coming months, seeks to transform the casino into a premier destination, offering an array of new amenities for guests.
Citing a growing demand from patrons for enhanced facilities and services, the Oneida Indian Nation committed to doubling the size of the gaming floor, as well as introducing a 100-room hotel, and adding new dining options.
