The latest edition of the SAGSE Latam expo drew representatives from the leading companies across the region in late March. Dozens of attendees gathered at the Hilton Hotel of Buenos Aires, Argentina, to explore the future of the gaming industry over the show’s two days.

Among the companies exhibiting at the expo was CT Gaming, which highlighted at SAGSE both its traditional land-based solutions and the gaming products of its online arm, CT Interactive.

To learn more about the company’s presence at the expo, Yogonet held an exclusive interview with Alejandra Muñiz, Business Development Manager, during the first day of the show.

What can you tell me about the event thus far? What are your impressions of the show?

The first impressions are definitely good given the high level of activity you can see across the expo floor and the presence of a large number of stakeholders from across the region, many of whom are already well-known to us.

It is also a good opportunity to explore the latest in the gaming industry, both across the land-based and online sectors, the latter of which is seeing high growth. That is also the case in Argentina, which in terms of imports and regulations is not necessarily the cheapest country, but we are seeing greater clarity for work here.

What are the objectives for CT Gaming at this event?

The objective for our showcase at this event is to reaffirm and further consolidate our brand in the LatAm market, by showcasing our latest novelties both in terms of cabinets for the land-based sector and our growing portfolio of online games.

We are expanding our range of products all the time, which is why it is important for us to present those new games and solutions to the public at industry events such as this one.

Which markets are you targeting at this event? Of course, many of the stakeholders visiting you today are probably from Argentina, but what other countries are you receiving inquiries from?

Today, we mostly held conversations with clients from Brazil and Argentina, but we also were visited by customers and interested parties from Uruguay and Chile.

Brazil, Chile and Uruguay are three personal priorities, and I’m also keen on helping develop our market presence in Argentina, which was sort of stagnant due to the complex political situation of the country.

What market trends are you noticing in the Latin American gaming sector? Any particular technology or product that you see as being the most required at the moment? And which CT products are in high demand amid this context?

While the online market is a bustling one that is always in a growth trend, today I see operators interested in content that holds a close relation with the land-based segment; titles that are present in gaming floors and that players have already tried. They are seeking to introduce their older customers to the online segment, which is more oriented toward younger users.

As for the most demanded products, they tend to be our classic games. They are supported by top-notch mathematics, renowned in gaming floors… All this makes them player favorites, which they ask for time and time again. That is the reason why we try to make sure that in all of our cabinets, these classic games are always present.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of CT Gaming. What can you tell us about this major milestone and what it represents for the company?

2024 marks a special anniversary for us, and we have been holding different celebrations throughout the year to commemorate this milestone. We have long consolidated our footprint in the land-based sector, but this 25th anniversary also works as an opportunity to showcase the strength of CT Interactive.

CT Interactive is today a public company that has been exhibiting tremendous growth and boasts a very wide portfolio of games. Events like this help us raise awareness of this anniversary milestone and our experience in the gaming sector.
