Navajo Nation Gaming Enterprise has appointed industry veteran John James to serve as Chief Executive Officer. James will join the executive team in overseeing operations at Navajo Gaming’s venues, which include Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort, Fire Rock Navajo Casino, Northern Edge Navajo Casino, Flowing Water Navajo Casino, and Navajo Blue Travel Plaza.
Under the role, James will be tasked with strengthening Navajo Gaming’s economic impact, increasing revenue for the tribe, and creating jobs for members of the Navajo Nation.
He brings a wealth of experience to the Navajo Nation after serving as the chief executive of numerous gaming companies, including River Rock Entertainment Authority in California, Muckleshoot Casino Resort in Washington, Soboba Casino Resort in California, and Gila River Gaming Enterprises in Arizona.
He has also served in leadership positions for Seminole Gaming, Pechanga Resort and Casino, and various Station Casino properties.
