Online gaming operator Codere Online has announced the favorable resolution of all 21 agenda items at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the registered office of the company, including the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors.
Gabriel Saenz de Buruaga, Taavi Davies and Claude Noesen have been appointed as directors for an initial term of one year, replacing Patrick Ramsey, Michal Elimelech, and Laurent Teitgen.
Gonzaga Higuero, CEO of Codere Group, was re-appointed as director and will also serve as Chairman of the Board going forward. In regards to these changes, Higuero stated: “We welcome these new additions to the Board and look forward to working with them to build upon the significant progress achieved by the Company in recent years.”
Higuero added: “I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Pat for his valuable contribution and dedication as Chairman since Codere Online went public in 2021, and I am excited that he will be joining me in the Board of our parent company, Codere New Topco, following its recently announced recapitalization and as it looks ahead to a promising future.”
In a recent Board of Directors meeting convened before the AGM, changes to the company’s committees were formally ratified. Firstly, in the Audit Committee, Claude Noesen was appointed as a new member. Meanwhile, Borja Fernández retains his role as Chairman, and Daniel Valdez continues to serve as a member of the committee.
Secondly, within the Compliance Committee, Mark Dunn was appointed as the new Chairman. Alongside him, Taavi Davies joins as a newly appointed member. Additionally, Rafael Catalá and Yaiza Rodríguez will maintain their positions as members of the committee.
