“Zitro’s commitment to environmental responsibility extends beyond its energy consumption,” a press release states. The company noted that it is exploring further ways to reduce its environmental impact throughout its operations, which includes implementing sustainable product development, manufacturing, and waste management practices.

Zitro earlier this month announced the creation of an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Corporate Committee; an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) department; and a dedicated department for Integrated Management Systems (IMS). These specialized teams will lead the company’s transformation towards a more sustainable business model, the casino gaming supplier said.

The ESG Committee will guide Zitro’s efforts in integrating sustainability practices across its operations, focusing on environmental responsibility, social impact, and ethical governance. Meanwhile, the EHS department oversees Environmental, Health, and Safety concerns, promoting sustainable practices, as well as social responsibility initiatives and circularity principles.
