German football club RB Leipzig announced Merkur Group as the new Official Partner of the Red Bulls, right before the start of the new Bundesliga season. The collaboration with the East Westphalian family business is planned for two years and will see Merkur’s brand presence in the stadium as well as the football club’s digital formats.
Merkur Group will be visible under its umbrella brand Merkur and their new sports betting brand Merkur Bets during Bundesliga matches both in the Red Bull Arena and on live TV via LED advertising boards and Cam Carpets. In addition, Merkur will be responsible for presenting the Bundesliga table of the RBL men’s team on all digital media.
