The Global Gaming Awards 2025 is calling on gaming companies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to submit their self-nominations for this year’s competition.

Companies that have achieved milestones, launched impactful games, or introduced innovative services in the past 12 months are urged to complete the nomination process by October 11, 2024, via the official website.

The self-nomination process is streamlined, requiring only a brief summary of up to 480 characters outlining the company’s recent achievements. The more detailed and fact-based the submission, the higher the chance of securing a spot on the Shortlist, according to event organizers.

Companies are advised to avoid generic biographies and irrelevant accomplishments outside the EMEA region, as these will not enhance their chances of being shortlisted.

The Global Gaming Awards honor winners from a shortlist of 10 nominees per category, with just making the shortlist being considered a notable accomplishment in the industry.

Event Manager Mariya Savova highlighted the significance of these nominations, stating: “Every year we get more self-nominations and we are hoping this year breaks all records. We feel our ‘most prestigious’ message is justified by the fact that companies are on the Shortlist for a valid reason.”

Savova also expressed excitement about this year’s event moving to a new location. “I am pleased to share that the Global Gaming Awards will be held at the ICE 2025 venue, Fira Barcelona Gran Via, at the end of Day 1, 20th January,” she announced.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to have our event at London’s Hippodrome Casino for the past seven years but as the Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East, and Africa have always been held during ICE week, we would like to keep that tradition and that is why in January we are heading to the beautiful city of Barcelona,” she concluded.

The Global Gaming Awards EMEA are organized by Gambling Insider, with KPMG in the Crown Dependencies overseeing the voting process. The event’s Lead Partner this year is BetConstruct, while the list of category sponsors includes prominent names such as Interblock, GR8 Tech, Spribe, Bragg Gaming, and EveryMatrix.

Companies interested in submitting their nominations should visit the official Global Gaming Awards website by October 11. For those shortlisted, the recognition serves as an industry endorsement, with winners to be celebrated at an event in Barcelona.
